The Way It Was – Glass

Vintage Cambridge Glass Nautilus vase mould in the Crown Tuscan line approximately 1930’s.  Moulds were sold to other glass companies and this one may have been sold to Imperial and then to Fenton as the floral painting is attributed to Fenton.  Approximately 7 inches tall with width of 8 inches.   Used more for decorative collectible than a vase.

The Way It Was: Antique Hand Carved Keepsake Box

One thing people had during the early 20th Century and previous,  was a special box for treasured items and family memorabilia for the next generation.  Many had Hope Chests and Blanket Chests for larger items.  This was one of the hand carved boxes with a lock. The lid is slightly warped with age and lack of care but still an admirable crafted piece.

Vintage Things: Carousel Horse

Two modern panels but have designs to fit many decors.   They can hang by sides of a large window door or be the center of a wall presentation of paintings.  Just interesting to view.  SOLD
